Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Free Kick (freekick.co.in) handles personal information when you use our World Cup prediction competition. Last updated: June 2026.
Information we collect
When you register, we collect your name, email address, place (location), optional profile photo, and password (stored securely as a hash). When you submit predictions, we store your picks and timestamps. We may collect basic usage data through standard web server logs and analytics tools to keep the service secure and reliable.
How we use your information
We use your data to operate the prediction competition: authenticating your account, displaying your name on the leaderboard, calculating points, sending email verification codes, and notifying you about match-related announcements when you opt in. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies for login sessions and site functionality. Google AdSense may use cookies to serve and measure ads on content pages only (for example home, matches, leaderboard, and instructions). You can manage ad personalisation in your Google account settings. Utility pages such as login and registration do not show ads.
Data retention and security
Account and prediction data is retained for the duration of the competition and a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. Passwords are hashed; sensitive tokens are not stored in plain text. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised administrators.
Your rights and contact
You may update your profile details from your account page. To request account deletion or ask about your data, contact us at dyfipattambi75@gmail.com. We will respond to reasonable requests in line with applicable law.
